Our role is to make sure contracts are concluded on terms that are clear and enforceable, and that the client understands the approvals, licensing and security requirements before committing. We assist with procurement processes, supply and maintenance contracts, offset and local partnership arrangements, and the import and export restrictions that apply to controlled goods and technology. Because many of these projects involve foreign partners, we also look at how intellectual property, technology transfer and confidential information are handled between the parties.
